The Pittsburgh Steelers have opened as four-point favorites at home against the Cleveland Browns, according to odds released Sunday by Sports Betting Dime.
The Steelers are 4-0 this season after Sunday’s win over the Philadelphia Eagles. They also own victories over the New York Giants, Denver Broncos and Houston Texans.
The Browns are 4-1, winning at home over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday to go with wins over the Cincinnati Bengals, Washington and the Dallas Cowboys after a season-opening loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
The Steelers are 3-1 against the spread, covering a 7.5-point line against the Eagles and also covering against the Giants and Texans, but failing to cover six points in a five-point win over Denver.
Cleveland is 3-2 against the spread, covering a one-point spread in a 32-23 win over the Colts. The Browns have won against the spread three straight weeks, winning outright as a road underdog at Dallas in Week 4 and easily covering 7.5 in a blowout win over Washington.
The point total of Sunday’s game, which will kick off at 1 p.m. at Heinz Field, is 51.
The Browns and Steelers split their games in 2019 and Pittsburgh went 1-0-1 against Cleveland in 2018 after an early season tie snapped the Steelers’ six-game win streak against their nearest rivals.
